Currin Outdoor Living is seeking a Fine Gardening Crew Leader to oversee high-end garden care and routine landscape maintenance, with special emphasis on ornamental plants, flowers, shrubs, seasonal displays, and meticulous property presentation.

What You'll Do
- Perform and oversee detailed hand pruning, deadheading, weeding, plant-health checks, and perennial/annual flower care.
- Delegate and supervise lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, and general grounds maintenance.
- Safely drive a truck and trailer to jobsites.
- Maintain equipment used by the crew.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high aesthetic standard.
- Communicate with clients about daily work, future needs, out-of-scope opportunities, and property expectations.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in fine gardening, horticulture, or detailed landscape maintenance.
- 2 years of crew-lead experience in landscape maintenance or fine gardening.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of ornamental plants, shrubs, flowers, pruning techniques, and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail.
What Will Help You Stand Out
- Degree or certification in horticulture, plant biology, landscape maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional eye for floral care, plant health, bed styling, and ornamental garden presentation.
- Computer skills and experience with LMN Time or similar landscape software are a plus.
Physical & Work Environment
This is an active outdoor leadership position. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds and work in changing weather, noise, dust, pollen, wet conditions, and around landscape equipment.Travel to jobsites throughout the Triangle area is required using a company vehicle.
