Project Estimator & Coordinator

Raleigh, NC
Full Time
Mid Level
Love numbers and great design? Obsessed with details but also see the big picture? We’ve got the perfect role for you.

Currin Outdoor Living is looking for a sharp, curious, and collaborative Outdoor Living Project Estimator & Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between dream and reality by turning creative outdoor designs into real-world budgets, schedules, and buildable plans.

Location: Raleigh, NC | Full-Time | $50–60k Based on Experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

Estimating:
  • Review design plans and project specs to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
  • Perform take-offs, price materials, and compare bids with precision. Build detailed proposals and budgets without missing a thing.
Ordering & Procurement:
  • Source, order, and track materials (hardscapes, lumber, stone, outdoor living products, etc.).
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing.
  • Ensure timely, accurate deliveries and coordinate with subcontractors on materials and plans.
Scheduling & Coordination:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including crew assignments, subcontractors, and deliveries.
  • Adjust timelines based on weather, supply chain issues, or client changes.
  • Serve as the go-to liaison between designers, project managers, clients, crews, and vendors.
  • Keep everyone updated on progress and schedules.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
  • Have at least 2 years of estimating experience (landscape, construction, or design-build strongly preferred).
  • Speak fluent “plan set” and can confidently navigate design drawings. Thrive when juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Know your way around spreadsheets, estimating/project management software (LMN, Aspire, JobTread, BuilderTrend).
  • Have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Bring a sharp eye for detail, a good sense of humor, and a team-player mindset. A passion for beautiful outdoor spaces (or at least a favorite patio).
Why You’ll Love It Here:
  • Work on inspiring, one-of-a-kind outdoor projects. Join a fast-growing company that invests in its people.
  • Casual, collaborative culture (no corporate stiffness here). PTO, team lunches, and plenty of growth opportunities.
  • A chance to do great work—and have fun doing it.
